CostsNYC is a civic education and public comment project for New Yorkers. The site is intended to help residents understand the Preliminary Citywide Racial Equity Plan and prepare comments in plain language.

Use of the site

• Use the site for lawful, non-abusive purposes.
• Do not submit false, malicious, or automated spam through the forms or comment tool.
• Do not rely on the site as legal advice.
• Do not rely on the site as the City itself or as an immediate official submission confirmation unless the interface says that specific step has been completed.

Submission note

• CostsNYC helps users draft comments and, where the tool supports it, receive comments for delivery to the city in regular batches during the day.
• Users should review the final comment before submitting it through CostsNYC or any official fallback form.

Current state

Some parts of the product may still be in preview or may change as the build matures. Routes, integrations, and delivery tooling can be updated over time.

Public record note

Public comments may become part of a government review process or public record depending on how the city handles them. CostsNYC does not provide legal advice about that process.
